iPhone/iOS Super Hero Wallpapers

I’ve had a few people asking if I could make my recent super hero portraits into iOS wallpapers. Here they are. They are in the new higher res of the the iPhone 4 and new iPod touch. I’ll make an iPad version at some point in the near future 🙂

Enjoy!

Death’s Head vs Hulk

In celebration of the fantastic return of Death’s Head tomorrow in Marvel Heroes issue 33!

Grindhouse Death’s Head

You may remember the inks from a while back for my zombied Death’s Head, well I’ve finally finished the colouring! Halloween gave me a realkick up the butt to get this done. Anyway, here it is in Grindhouse style. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did creating it.

Lego Death’s Head II

Here’s the companion piece to my first Lego Death’s Head. He’s not as cool as ol’ banana horns, but he’s a part of his history now.

There’s a great devientart group which shows various artists (professional and fan) rendition of this cult fave. Check it out here!

LEGO Death’s Head

I love Death’s Head, a fact a few of you may have picked up on in this blog! I love him so much that I really wish he had a lego minifig! So much so I made my own! (in Illustrator! 🙂 )

Marvel Zombies Death’s Head Finished Inks

Here’s the finished inks for Marvel Zombies Death’s Head for those who may be waiting to see what he looks like 🙂 There should be a coloured version up within the week, fingers crossed.

Like a shambling corpse, I post again!

WOW!! It’s been a while since my last post but I’ll forgive myself, what with having a new Graphic Design job and all! 🙂

Anyway, I’ve still been a busy boy and will do a few catch up posts over the next day or two.

First up is a very early work in progress for a new Death’s Head in the style of Marvel Zombies. He’s a long way from completion but here’s a little preview for you.

More soon.

Freelance Peacekeeping Agent

FPAnike

I’ve been a huge fan of the Simon Furman and Geoff Senior created Death’s Head for over 20 years now. A criminally under used Marvel UK property which has been bastardized by his successors such as Death’s Head II and Death’s Head 3.0. The original had a unique feel to him with plenty of great british black humour and more than a few peculiar traits, least of which been his speech, yes?

I decided to create a pair of custom kicks featuring a chibi version of him I drew many, many moons ago. Following the colour cues of the character and with a liberal dose of blood these kicks will be what the discerning bounty…er freelance peacekeeping agent will be wearing this fall 🙂

Check out Death’s Head here, Simon Furman here and here and Geoff Senior here.

If you enjoy the Marvel UK universe then you should check out the excellent blog called It Came From Darkmoor.
